Seems things are changing drastically regarding freedom of speech in our beautiful country of milk and honey.
This illustration had been recycled for the cover of the cultural news magazine Kiblind, which is printed at 10000 copies and which can be found for free in many trendy places in our lovely city of Lyon.  A city which claims to value arts and culture but where the people don't know how to party until 6 a.m. ... Before going to sleep, there's the possibility to download a pdf version of the mag there .  Another variation on the same image, how to make those stupid bears fit in a "punk" looking image. trying to re-create the cheap cut and paste feel while using a computer...

I had often been told that messing art with politics is a very bad thing.
Found this rummaging into my things, seems naming this blog Dump Site is quite appropriate.

Things had been a bit hectic these days...

Both were made mid-August at an open-air rock festival along with the painters from the Organic Comix collective, it's been raining all the week-end and as a result the panels were soiled with grass and mud.



Finally, it's summer time, as there's more skin exposed on the streets, thought it was time to display some erotic orientated work.  SKIN JOB is a strange graphic novel which tells the story of a Colombian girl emigrating in a bit "surreal" California.  She ends up being involved in the online porn business by her lover/boyfriend.That 110 pages story got published between 2002 and 2004 in the french magazine "Geisha", ( http://www.geishavpc.com/boutique/liste_rayons.cfm?code_lg=lg_fr) which includes mostly translated japanese material, The story is actually published in the pages of the italian "Blue Magazine".
